The Mathematics Program at Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire, invites applications for a non-tenure track Teaching Faculty position to commence in August 2021. The Program offers B.S. degrees in mathematics and computational and applied mathematics. Teaching Faculty positions are full time, with benefits, and with annual renewal based on performance and need. The teaching load is 30-32 credit hours per year. - Masters in mathematics or a related field
- College-level teaching experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- PhD in mathematics or related field.
- Experience teaching introductory statistics, math for humanities, or mathematics for elementary school educators.
- Competence in technology and innovative course delivery strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and students across the college.
- Skills to serve as an academic adviser and mentor for undergraduate students.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with a wide variety of learners, including first-generation students.

Duties / Responsibilities
Teaching faculty are expected to teach 15-16 contact hours/semester. Responsibilities include teaching mathematics content courses for the General Education program, teaching upper-level undergraduate courses, advising students, and service.
