Image analysis - postdoctoral researchers or research assistant professors
We are seeking multiple researchers to use advanced image processing and state-of-the-art machine/deep learning to map the vagus nerve from the brainstem to target organs, creating the first-ever vagus nerve connectome. The goal is to map nerve bundles over the 50‑cm length of the vagus using whole-body MRI, micro-CT, nano-CT, and 3D-MUSE microscopy. This project will create Penta-bytes of data to analyze, creating a need for algorithms, visualization, and coding. Wages will be highly competitive.
Successful applicants will have an interest in biomedical imaging and quantitative image analysis including machine/deep learning approaches. Software coding experience is a big plus! Applicants must have a PhD degree in engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
