Job Description

The Operations and Information Management department at Graham School of Business, York College of Pennsylvania seeks qualified individuals for an instructor pool adjunct position. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses change periodically, depending on the department's teaching needs.

The current need is for an adjunct instructor in Business Analytics who is qualified to teach an undergraduate course in Introduction to Analytics (QBA265). In addition to working knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics (including hypothesis testing, ANOVA, Chi-Square Analysis, and Regression Analysis), the candidate must also have prior experience in teaching excel related content related to business analytics.

The candidate must be willing to teach courses in an in-person format.

The candidate will be required to hold regular office hours, demonstrate an appropriate degree of professional activity (particularly regarding pedagogy), and be expected to attend all meetings relevant to the position.

 

 


Requirements:

The candidate should possess a Master's in Business Analytics or a closely related discipline, from an accredited institution by the start of the initial contract period. 3 - 5 years of teaching and/or field experience in the area of Business Analytics. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate evidence of scholarly potential, including established research interests, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team.

Preference will be given to a candidate with an earned Doctoral degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field. Teaching college-level, continuing education, and certifications in the field are a plus.
