Essential Job Duties

This job is for a research assistant position working on the modeling, design, fabrication and characterization of: EM transparent or absorbent materials engineered EM structures (metamaterials, frequency selective surfaces) wireless antenna design for remote sensing conformal microwave devices

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: perform hands-on experiments Publish scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals Lab maintenance, including equipment setup, maintenance, organization, and ordering of supplies as needed

Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM; Hours may vary

The candidate is open for a post-doc. GPA>3.7 for BS degree. Candidate should have a strong background in: EM and antenna theory good hands-on experiment capability Prior experience in RF theory and antenna design wireless/RF communication, antenna design, radio frequency (RF) testing, metamaterial design Software such as HFSS Experience with RF lab equipment, such as power meters, spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators/analyzers, and oscilloscope
