Marketing Product Manager

San Diego, CA

As a member of the Miltenyi Biotec Marketing team, you will have the opportunity to strategically manage a cell separation portfolio and related products. The unique duties of this position will allow you to interact at all levels within the company. Working closely with Marketing, R&D and Production, you will enhance promotional marketing materials and launch new products by effectively translating your understanding of customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns to achieve success for cell separation products.
• Understand the market dynamics to effectively target customer groups with applicable messaging and collateral.
• Strategically manage the marketing channel mix to communicate a value proposition and uniquely position the Miltenyi Biotec solution.
• Identify and create opportunities to partner with key opinion leaders for customer collaborations.
• Generate new product demand and funnel into nurture activities for marketing qualified leads.
• Evaluate ROI of marketing programs and look for ways to improve.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or graduate degree from a four-year university in life sciences and 2-5 years of experience in a science field related to product line marketing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• PhD in immunology or >4 years of lab experience in immunology highly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, evidence of insurance/insurability, ability to receive appropriate clearance to access restricted government accounts, and be authorized to work in the U.S.

The anticipated base salary range has been established at $90,720 - $136,080/year.  The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.  In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan.  All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
