About the Role:

_

• Serves as lead analyst on a variety of health economic projects

• Provides lead support to design, develop and implement projects to assist in the creation of disease or product specific evidence to inform commercial strategy, value assessment and market access

• Supports programming for high complexity models, using various modeling/analysis applications

• Conducts quality control checks on project data tables; identify issues with programming and recommend solutions

• Conducts targeted literature reviews to obtain estimates for model input parameters or other data analysis projects

• Reviews and finalize project deliverables and ensures study findings are valid and reliable

• Supports the development and/or refinement of data analytic standards as well as publications

• Keeps apprised of technical developments in the field and shares best practices

• Works with vendors and may provide lead on some HEOR initiatives

• Mentors or train less experienced colleagues to provide an example of innovation and excellence

• Other duties as assigned

• Master's or MPH degree in health outcomes or health economics or related field and 6+ years of related pharmaceutical industry experience in claims analysis and data set analysis. Publication/medical writing experience is required OR

• PharmD or PhD in health outcomes or health economics or related field and 4+ years of similar experience noted above

• Has knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts of related business disciplines

• Works to improve tools and processes within functional area

• Developing reputation inside the company as it relates to area of expertise and awareness of cross-functional needs

• Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams

• Exhibits leadership skill and ability, typically leads lower levels and/or indirect teams

• Excellent computer skills

• Sees broader picture, impact on multiple departments/divisions

• Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

• Excellent project management skills

• Effective interpersonal skills including the ability to build successful relationships with internal experts/teams and other stakeholders

• Job Specific Knowledge & Qualifications:

• Excellent written communication and publication/medical writing skills

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry claims analysis, data set analysis

• Knowledge of economic modeling is required

• Ability to analyze and summarize data, think critically, manage projects, influence others, work in a team environment, and synthesize complex clinical and non-clinical statistical and medical information to effectively communicate medical and scientific information are required

• Excellent presentation and highly proficient computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint); and SAS or other statistical programming

• Advanced data analytic skills with working knowledge of large commercial claims and publicly accessible data sets as the foundation of research
