Historically, the travel requirement for this position has ranged from 80-100%. For now, all KPMG business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only. KPMG is currently seeking a Manager in Market, Credit, & Liquidity for our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply working knowledge of credit risk, capital management, financial reporting, interest rate risk, and climate risk
  • Use statistical coding languages such as SAS, Python, and R. Experience with statistical techniques such as regression-based modeling (for example, econometrics, machine learning, algorithmic optimization techniques)
  • Work with balance sheet and loss forecast modeling (for example, pre-provision net revenue, operational loss forecasts, credit forecasts, and capital)
  • Develop recurring analytics related to stress test models, including development of idiosyncratic scenarios, stressed scenarios, market scenarios, and deriving insights based on results
  • Conduct component modeling including probability of default, loss given default, exposure at default, expected losses

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of recent capital, liquidity, risk or experience with emphasis on financial risk management including preferred knowledge in the following areas: Asset Liability Management (ALM), operational/compliance risk, stress testing, Value-at-Risk (VaR), short-term borrowing and investments processes, commercial & retail loan products, structured credit products
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; PhD or Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, physics, or computer science
  • Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel may be up to 60-80%
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
