Senior Clinical Quality Analyst

Position in this function provides clinical analyst and tracking for compliance, best practices, and reporting to ensure the highest clinical quality of care is provided. Oversight for the delivering of quality care with processes and documentation standards that are the best in the industry. Guide positive change and develop comprehensive care plans that will help others live healthier lives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee clinical, quality improvement projects and initiatives
  • Research, analyze, and evaluate clinical metrics
  • Manage clinical quality projects and/or work objectives
  • Review and update clinical training modules
  • Implement ongoing quality assurance checks
  • Train new staff in their respective role
  • Conduct random, quality assurance audits and reviews
  • Explore and implement clinical best practices
  • Monitor and oversee clinical compliance
  • Create and/or update reports related to quality improvement/performance outcomes
  • Disperse clinical information for new clinical requirements, procedures, policies, etc.
  • Assist in developing department quality strategic action plans.
  • Help develop and/or improve policies, procedures, and processes
  • Document and report clinical quality information
  • Assists with initial and maintenance of accreditations and audits
  • Ensure program complies with various agency requirements: California State requirements and/or National requirements


In addition to fostering teamwork and collaboration, much of your work will involve data extraction. Strong auditing skills are essential. You'll also need the communication and persuasion skills to deal with clinical and non-clinical audiences.

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted and active license: PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, PCC or RN license
  • 3+ years of health care experience
  • 2+ years of experience developing and implementing performance improvement projects or using data to develop intervention strategies to improve outcomes
  • Demonstrated mastery of UHG intake procedures, computers, etc.
  • Proven ability to access and use electronic databases for quality review
  • Proven ability to navigate Microsoft Access Databases and VBA
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, ability to give feedback and provide leadership to a varied staff

California Residents Only: The salary range for California residents is $70,200 to $137,800 annually.
