Responsibilities

We are hiring a Exchange Systems Engineer, Senior.

What you'll do:

    Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions.
  • Your role will involve performing administrative, design, engineering, and operational tasks for a global enterprise Exchange and Exchange Online system.
  • You will be proactive in security posture reviews, updates to the Exchange environment, patch installation, messaging system architecture and design, migrations between on premise and cloud based systems.
  • In this role, you will orchestrate the development of a system of interest (encompassing hardware and/or software) through its entire life cycle, from requirements determination through operations and system retirement, with an emphasis on domain expert involvement, risk/opportunity management, and tailoring of processes to meet the needs of the specific project. Applies advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise, full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members.
Qualifications

What you'll need:

BS/BA + 8years, or MS/MA + 6years, or PHD +3years. In lieu of degree, HS diploma & 12 years of related or military related experience acceptable.

  • 7+ years of experience in an IT system engineering role, including developing architecture and design of complex distributed IT systems environments.

  • 5+ years of experience with the installation, configuration, and administration of Microsoft Exchange.

  • 3+ years of experience with mid- to enterprise-scale networks.

  • Experience working in large enterprise operations environment, including the identification, development, analysis, scheduling, and managing of enterprise IT activities, solutions and risk mitigations, artifacts, and migrations.

  • Experience with architecting, designing, securing, installing, troubleshooting, and documenting integrated server or network solutions.

  • Ability to communicate with senior management and customers.

  • Ability to support onsite delivery at least 1 day a week (with likelihood for growing onsite requirement as stipulated by govt client).
  • DOD Secret Clearance (active).
  • DoD 8570.11- IAT Level II Certification, (e.g. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP) in addition to Operating Environment (OE) certification for Microsoft Platforms/Solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments.
  • Experience with enterprise server, storage, networking, software, and application services depth in a single solution platform.
  • Experience in collaborating with other enterprise technologists, both internally and externally, to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Experience in supporting and coordinating across senior-level organizations.
  • Experience with mentoring junior team members.
  • Experience with cloud-based technology.
  • Experience with Python or PowerShell scripting.
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Technology, or Engineering.
  • CASP or CISSP Certification.

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
