You'll design, develop, and patent the next generation of our state-of-the art connectivity technologies. You'll collaborate across departments to help craft wireless solutions that elevate the customer experience with Apple products and services. Our goal is to ensure nothing stands in the way of our customers' connections with their devices. Key Qualifications

- Experience as an Interoperability Development and Test or Systems Engineer or equivalent
- Deep knowledge in cellular protocol stack, including but not limited to, PHY/MAC/RLC/RRC/NAS procedures as well as end to end system knowledge (5G NR, LTE, WCDMA)
- Past work experience in projects involving infrastructure vendors and/or chipset/OEM
- Experience of hands-on experience testing wireless technologies (5G-NR, LTE, UMTS, WiFi-calling, IMS etc.)
- Hands-on experience working with cellular infrastructure vendors on algorithm development and feature improvements
- Excellent log analysis, troubleshooting, analytical skills
- Scripting skills in Perl, Python or Shell is a plus
- Consistent track record of project work from concept to commercialization
- Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while deftly driving multiple projects across many teams
- Diligently hardworking and inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways
- Laser-focused on the smallest details that are significant to our customers

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
