The successful candidate will develop a collegial and collaborative environment that will promote programmatic growth, and interdisciplinary research.
Conduct independent research in line with the goals of the Department of Oncology.
Participate in service assignments of importance to the program, the Department of Oncology, Karmanos Cancer Institute, the School of Medicine and the University
Depending on experience and academic accomplishments, the role of co-leader of the molecular imaging program at Karmanos Cancer Institute in the Department of Oncology is potentially available.
If MD degree valid Michigan Medical License required.
Board certified in both Radiology (ABR) and Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) with considerable expertise in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including general nuclear medicine, (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, gamma scintigraphy and radionuclide therapy) and an authorized user of radioisotopes.
Strong background in research and teaching.
Experience in research is needed and peer-reviewed funding in nuclear medicine or theranostics is desirable.
Rank must commensurate with credentials.
Evidence of scholarly productivity (i.e., external grant support and scholarly publications)
Ability to provide quality instruction to a variety of students.
