Candidates will be expected to conduct research suitable for publication in top tier journals, teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, participate in department and school governance activities, and perform related duties as assigned.
We expect the candidate to be a fully engaged participant in the life of the Mike Ilitch School of Business.
A typical teaching load is 2+2 (fall and winter).

Ph.D. in accounting from and AACSB accredited program, or a Ph.D. in a related field from an AACSB accredited school;
Evidence of potential to publish in leading journals;
Strong teaching skills;
Commitment to engagement with students, faculty, profession, and community.
Background in managerial accounting, auditing, data analytics/information systems;
Relevant professional experience and certification (e.g. CPA, CMA, CIA) will be considered favorably.
