Position Summary:
The Brennan School of Business at Dominican University is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach FIN 320 – International Finance. This 3-credit-hour course, which serves as a core requirement for finance majors and an elective for international business and economics majors, will be delivered in an online hybrid format, with synchronous sessions held Mondays from 5:00 pm - 6:15 pm via zoom.
The ideal candidate would allow for potential in-person engagement with students outside of the virtual classroom. Successful candidates must demonstrate a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, especially for diverse and first-generation students, and should have experience with effective online instruction.

FIN 320 - International Finance introduces students to the fundamental principles and practices of international finance. Students will explore topics such as exchange rates, foreign investment, and financial markets in a global context. The course emphasizes understanding financial decisions within multinational corporations, assessing risks, and evaluating global financial strategies. Prerequisites include Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 101) and Corporate Finance (FIN 301). The adjunct faculty member may work with senior finance faculty to examine current teaching materials, cases, and software specific to this course. Required Qualifications:
