TemporaryEssential Job Duties
●Analyze databases on women in environmental economics in institutions and countries with Environment for Development (EFD) Centers in the Global South and report on results;
● Support Women in Environmental Economics for Development (WinEED)’s initiative to encourage more women to submit papers for annual meeting and proposals for funding;
● Provide the Global Hub of Environment for Development (EFD) with analysis and evidence-based recommendations on how to increase opportunities for women and other traditionally underrepresented groups in environmental economics in the Global South;
● Develop guidance and provide advice on relevant frameworks for gender analysis and relevant methods for causal identification of the relationships between gender and environment/ development outcomes.

Minimum Experience/Education
Requires a PhD in economics, with a specialization in environment, natural resources, gender in development or other closely aligned field.

●Expertise in gender analysis in micro-economic frameworks and applying empirical methods for causal identification,
● Skills and experience relevant to promoting the professional success of women in environmental economics in the Global South,
● Demonstrated capabilities in data management and econometric analysis.

● Familiarity with economics programs in institutions and countries with EfD Centers in the Global South.
