The Finance and Accounting discipline has core research strengths in corporate finance, fintech and banking. It includes a healthy mix of research active and practitioner faculty, the latter bringing a wealth of business and professional experience. The discipline area has grown strongly in recent years, and will continue to do so in future. We seek to appoint a Lecturer in Finance.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate a clear individual research agenda leading to publications in top international journals. The appointee will teach in the Surrey Business School/ Finance and Accounting discipline area at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in both his/her specialist areas in addition to general contribution with the Discipline programmes.
We would also attach additional weights to experience in bidding for external funding in the last three years and/or engagement in funded activity such as executive education, consultancy and/or business engagement.
Conditions and compensation will be at internationally competitive standards and be commensurate with the appointee’s experience and expertise.
