This system will enable the characterization of plant essential proteins even for studies of highly dynamic processes such as endomembrane trafficking. Duties are to develop new targeted protein degradation systems in plants. Experiments to be conducted include molecular cloning, plant transformation, analysis of gene expression and protein accumulation in plants, light microscopy and biochemistry.
