Post-Doctoral Position - Oncology & molecular biology & radiology imaging - (210001I2)
The position is for a PhD level individual with expertise in molecular biology. Skill with molecular biology techniques such as cloning, virus design and construction, and gene expression in vitro and in vivo is needed. Expertise in stem cells and immune cells is desirable. Familiarity with FACS is desirable. Ability to characterize and test these including in animal models is advantageous. Other skills of interest include familiarity with in vivo imaging techniques, such as PET, MR, and optical imaging and analysis. Radiopharmaceuticals will be used. The candidate will work independently and will be responsible for literature analysis; experimental design, execution, analysis; and manuscript writing and submission. Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external collaborators are essential. The candidate will work in consultation with the Principal Investigator, Vikas Kundra, M.D., Ph.D., Chief of Oncologic Imaging.
