Assistant Professor (Tenure Track), Finance
Job Description
The Department of Finance in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a tenure-track position in Finance. The beginning date for the position is September 2025.
Interested candidates should have a passion for teaching and research in the broadly defined area of Fintech. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Finance and pursue a high-quality research program with the objective of publishing in top-tier journals in the field. Candidates must also demonstrate potential for high-quality teaching. Primary teaching responsibility is in Fintech and finance, at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels. The teaching load will initially be three courses per year, and junior faculty are given minimal service requirements.

Salary, benefits, teaching load, and research support are highly competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates who currently hold tenure-track appointments at other institutions are strongly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates have a record of publishing in top journals at rank and evidence of highly effective teaching in graduate and/or undergraduate courses.
