Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
Part-time audiologist to provide services in the HESP Clinic
(www.hespclinic.umd.edu) and contribute to classroom teaching. The
audiologist will provide direct services in evaluating and managing hearing
loss in patients of all ages. Opportunities for providing services in areas of
specialization (tinnitus, sound sensitivity, implantable devices) and classroom
teaching are also available. There is strong potential for contributing towards
establishing new clinical initiatives, participating in clinical outreach and
research projects, presenting at professional conferences, and
collaborating with other professionals across the UM campuses and the local
community.

Minimum Qualifications:
● Master’s degree (M.A./M.S.) or Doctorate in Audiology (AuD)
● Maryland licensure (or eligibility for MD licensure)
● Board certification in Audiology (ASHA, AAA, ABA)
● Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and linguistic
backgrounds
● Excellent technical report writing skills, organization, and time
management
● Strong team player, but can work independently
● Maryland licensure (or eligibility for MD licensure)
