Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean and Director of Community Schools Technical
Assistance Center NYC (CSTAC-NYC) at Fordham’s Center, the Resource
Specialist for CSTAC-NYC provides technical assistance to community school
staff at public schools throughout NYC. They assist the Director and
subcontractors in identifying and evaluating NYC Region school districts’ needs.
This position requires travel throughout NYC.
Essential Functions
∙Assists the Director and subcontractors in identifying and evaluating
Eastern Region school districts’ needs.
∙Develops and implements in-person and virtual conferences, webinars,
and communities of practice in alignment with NYSED mandates and
school districts’ needs.
∙Works with Fordham’s Center for Educational Partnerships staff in
providing information, resources, and current research for inclusion on the
NY state community school website and in the statewide TAC newsletter.
∙Works with the Director to complete virtual and in-person site visits in
alignment with NYSED contract deliverables.
∙Maintains detailed records of all site visits, e-mails, and hotline inquiries.

Additional Functions
∙Attends New York State Education Department strategy technical
assistance meetings in Albany.
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
∙Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
∙Minimum of 3 years of experience working with schools and/or community-
based organizations operating community schools.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
∙Experience in providing technical assistance to schools/staff
∙Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
∙Experience in working with diverse populations in high-need areas
∙Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to
the goals of Jesuit Education.
Preferred Qualifications
∙Master’s degree in education or related field
Minimum Starting Salary: $66,645.86
Maximum Starting Salary: $66,645.86
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
