Job Summary

 

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operation and future objectives associated with the Facilities Management Department.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinating the daily operation of the Facilities Management Department 
• Coordinate with supervisors and staff to ensure completion of repairs, projects, and renovations. 
• Supervise all Facilities Management employees 
• Approve purchases and finances for the department
• Oversee the budget to ensure fiscal stability 
• Oversees emergency response actions on behalf of the department. 
• Assist with building and executing objectives for future expansion of the university 
• Facilitate operations to ensure completion of any building violations or deficiencies 
• Assist in developing university regulations and procedures for capital activities, implement and manage information systems, and research information
• Perform other duties of a similar nature or level, as needed

 

Qualifications

Minimum: 

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 2 years experience in facilities management 

Candidates who possess similar minimum objective qualifications are encouraged to apply and should describe the comparable work experience and education related to establishing equivalency. 

Preferred: 

• Bachelor’s degree in construction technology, engineering, architecture, business management or a related comparable experience 
• 2 years of supervisory experience
