Job Description
Electronics Technician, Maintenance I – Position Location: Atsugi, JapanMaintenance capability shall at a minimum:
- Shall demonstrate competence through satisfactory progressive performance as an Electronics Technician. Ideal candidates will be prior military service Avionics Technicians and have held a CDI or CDQAR qualification, or a prior aviation simulator technician.
- Two (2) years electronics maintenance or graduation from a two-year resident Electronics Technician course at an accredited technical institute or the equivalent.
- Meet the IAT-I certification requirements with an A+ Certification or equivalent and maintain the minimum training requirements as identified in DoD 8570.01M.
- Have a current, valid passport.
- Knowledge of UH-60R/S aircraft and missions, simulators, or electronics systems is beneficial but not required.
