Position: Provide assistance to the Financial Aid Team. Help students transform their lives by connecting them with financial resources that make achieving their educational and career goals possible. Help manage Institutional, State, and Federal Financial Aid and Scholarship Programs. Responsible for front-line customer service to students and assisting with file completion. Also responsible for processing of Financial Aid related documents and awarding State and Federal funding. Candidate should have excellent customer service and communication skills, great attention to detail, and work well under time constraints. On the job training provided.

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree required. Prior experience in the field of Financial Aid is preferred, but not required. On the job training in financial aid will be provided. Candidates with experience in finance, banking, loan management or related fields will also be considered. Candidates must be in good standing with federal student loan payments to ensure access to federal websites. Position is 20-25 hours per week, generally between the weekday hours of 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
